1. Introduction

Inner Voice AI ("we", "us", "our") operates the Inner Voice platform (inner-voice.online). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: Name, email address, and password hash when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and Google profile ID.
  • Coaching data: Daily check-in responses (wellbeing scores, mood, habit completion), active habits, and user preferences (timezone, check-in times).
  • Integration data: If you connect Betterness, we store an encrypted API token to fetch your health data on demand. If you connect Google Calendar, we store OAuth tokens to read calendar event counts and times — we do not store event titles or details.
  • Telegram data: Your Telegram user ID and username for bot communication.
  • Usage data: Token consumption metrics for AI interactions.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide personalized habit coaching via Telegram
  • Generate context-aware daily check-ins based on your schedule and health data
  • Track your progress and display trends in your dashboard
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS (us-east-1 region). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. All connections use TLS encryption. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Google: OAuth authentication and Calendar API (read-only). Governed by Google's privacy policy.
  • Telegram: Bot messaging. Governed by Telegram's privacy policy.
  • Anthropic / AWS Bedrock: AI inference for coaching. Your check-in data is sent to generate responses but is not stored by these providers beyond the request.
  • Betterness: Health data API (sleep, HRV, activity). Data is fetched on demand and not persisted beyond the coaching session.
  • Railway: Application hosting.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and coaching history are retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us or through the dashboard profile page. Upon deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:
  • Access your personal data through your dashboard
  • Disconnect integrations (Betterness, Telegram, Google) at any time
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Request a copy of your data

8. Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie ("token") for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
